Tavegil. Common Uses.

Tavegil is the second generation of antihistamine drugs with prolongs action. It is used to relieve inflammation of the nose, eyes, skin itchy, watery eyes, a runny nose, sneezing and nasal congestion , allergic reactions to foods, medicines or insect bites.

Take 1mg two times a day, in need take 4 mg per day. Children at the age between 6 and 12 years old should take 0,5—1 mg two times a day.

This medicine may cause drowsiness, blurred vision or dizziness. If affected do not drive or operate machinery. Children should avoid potentially hazardous activities such as riding bikes or climbing trees if affected.

Take the missed dose as soon as you remember it. Do not "double-up" the doses.

An overdose of this medication is unlikely to occur. If you do suspect an overdose, call an emergency room or poison control center near you.
